The number of contracts registered in April in the Valencian Community was 127,463. Of these, 86.7% were temporary compared to 13.3% permanent .
The data has been provided by the Economic and Social Committee of the Phone Number List Valencian Community (CES-CV). The same organization has stated that the hiring rate in April maintained a similar trend to that of the previous month. Although with a slight decrease of just 0.1% .
Specifically, these temporary hires reached the figure of 110,455. By sex, 64,470 were for men and the remaining 45,685 were covered by women .
Data by province
When analyzed by province , temporary contracts represented 85% in Alicante , corresponding to the 32,830 signed. Another 11,703 in Castellón , which represents 85.1% . Finally, 65,922 (87.8%) were registered in Valencia .
According to CES, these data show a growth of 4.1% in this hiring model in the Valencian territory compared to the month of March.
On the other hand, registered permanent contracts , 17,008 , fell by 21%. Thus, in Castellón , 2,048 were signed , in Alicante , 5,791 and in Valencia , the remaining 9,169 .
Decrease in contracts at the state level
Data in the national context indicate that the number of temporary contracts fell by 0.38% compared to March, with a total of 1,192,765 . Similarly, permanent contracts also registered a decrease. In this case 20.8% , 164,080 being counted .
From the institution, they have recalled that the data has been generated in a month in which movement restrictions and the closure of the hospitality industry were still in force.
